At DFD Care and Support Services Ltd, we are committed to creating safe, welcoming and supportive accommodation where young people can build the confidence and skills they need for independent adult living.
Our team works alongside young people, encouraging them to recognise their strengths, make positive choices and develop practical everyday skills. This includes support with budgeting, cooking, maintaining their living space, education and employment opportunities, positive routines and participation in the wider community.
We are always interested in hearing from positive, reliable and motivated people who share our commitment to supporting young people. Working with DFD is about more than completing daily tasks. It is about building positive relationships, listening to young people and helping them develop confidence and greater independence.
Our team includes Support Workers, Senior Support Workers, Supported Accommodation Supervisors/Deputy Managers and other roles supporting the delivery of our services.
WHY WORK WITH DFD?
Instead of copying the “Benefits” section from the other website, I would make this section more appropriate to DFD:
- Make a positive difference in the lives of young people
- Support young people towards independence
- Work within a supportive and professional team
- Opportunities for training and development
- Develop experience in supported accommodation
- Help young people build practical independent living skills
- Support young people with education, training and employment opportunities
- Promote choice, dignity, respect and independence
- Work in an environment focused on safeguarding and positive outcomes
- Opportunities to develop your skills and progress within the organisation
The training point is directly supported by DFD’s Statement of Purpose, which says new staff undergo comprehensive induction and mandatory training, with staff also completing training and assessment before taking their own caseload.
WHAT WE LOOK FOR
You could then have a second section below:
We are looking for people who:
- Have a genuine interest in supporting young people
- Are respectful, patient and approachable
- Can encourage independence rather than doing everything for the young person
- Communicate and listen effectively
- Understand the importance of safeguarding
- Can maintain appropriate professional boundaries
- Are reliable and able to work as part of a team
- Respect individual backgrounds, choices and circumstances
- Are willing to learn and develop through training
That fits DFD particularly well because your Statement of Purpose puts autonomy, choice, dignity, participation, independence, personal aspirations, privacy and equality of opportunity at the centre of how support should be provided.

I would finish the page with something simple:
