About Us

DFD Care and Support Services provides high-quality, Ofsted-registered Supported Accommodation for young people aged 16 and 17, together with ongoing support for care leavers and young adults where appropriate. Our purpose is to help every young person develop the confidence, skills and resilience needed to move successfully into independent adult life. We understand that every young person has their own experiences, strengths and aspirations. Our approach is centred around building positive relationships, listening to young people and working alongside them to achieve their goals. We provide safe, comfortable accommodation alongside tailored support that promotes independence, emotional wellbeing, education, employment and community participation. We work closely with local authorities, social workers, personal advisers, education providers and health professionals to ensure young people receive coordinated support that reflects their individual needs.

Our experienced staff encourage young people to make informed decisions, develop practical life skills and prepare for adulthood at a pace that is right for them. We believe every young person deserves the opportunity to feel safe, valued, respected and optimistic about their future.Every young person receives personalised support based on their individual strengths, goals and assessed needs. We work alongside them to develop life skills including budgeting, cooking, maintaining a home, managing health and wellbeing, accessing education or employment, building positive relationships and participating in their local community. We measure our success by listening to the voice of the young person and helping them feel safe, respected, supported and optimistic about their future
